The 4th Kartepe Cup International Youth Football Tournament: More Than Just a Competition
Kartepe, Turkey, Witnessed the Excitement of 50 Teams from 8 Countries
The 4th Kartepe Cup International Youth Football Tournament, orchestrated by DMD Turizm, took place amidst the natural grass pitches at Kocaeli Kartepe The Green Park Hotel, one of Turkey's premier football hubs, from August 29th to September 1st, 2022.
This grand event welcomed a remarkable gathering of young football talent, with 50 teams from 28 clubs representing 8 different countries. The tournament aimed to provide children in the U15, U14, U13, U12, and U11 age categories with the opportunity to showcase their skills, assess their performance, and gain invaluable international match experience.
The competition was fierce and exhilarating, spanning across 5 categories and featuring a total of 133 football matches, where the ball found the back of the net over 600 times. The young athletes demonstrated their passion and determination on the field, making each match a spectacle of youth football excellence.
As a testament to their hard work and dedication, 20 deserving teams that excelled in their respective categories earned the right to proudly lift their championship trophies. Furthermore, every participant was recognized for their commitment and sportsmanship, receiving a medal as a token of their participation.
