3. Kartepe Cup International Football Tournament Has Ended

The International Kartepe Cup football tournament, branded with DMD Tourism, in which 37 teams from 6 countries participated, was completed today after the final matches played in 5 categories.

Over 500 goals were celebrated in 111 matches in the U11, U12, U13, U14 and U15 categories in the tournament, which took place in a magnificent atmosphere at the summit of Kartepe, which is synonymous with football.

DMD Sportif Turizm CEO Mehmet Turu evaluated the tournament; In the 3rd International Kartepe Cup, we watched a quality and enjoyable tournament with 37 teams from 6 countries in the 5 age group. Evaluating the one-and-a-half-year break due to the pandemic, Turu; “Unfortunately, we have the opportunity to monitor the effects of the pandemic on the football development of our children. In that sense, this tournament was a good opportunity for the responsible team to see these effects and identify the problems.” Turu continued his assessment of the tournament as follows:

“We could not give a positive response to some of our teams who wanted to participate in the tournament due to the occupancy experienced due to the end of the camping season in Kartepe Sports Village, where we are the sole authority, but we promise to meet for the next tournament. It's so nice to meet the kids on the football fields again. We, as DMD Turizm and By Demir Sports, would like to thank all our teams who contributed to our successful tournament with their participation.”

In our football tournament, where our teams from different countries and cities of our country had good experiences in the 3rd International Kartepe Cup, our teams returning home with trophies after the final matches are as follows;
